Sanjaybhai Solanki is a native of Mathavada village of Talaja Block which is located at 50 km far from district headquarter Bhavnagar. After completion of ITI, he didn’t get any job opportunity due to his lack of skill set and confidence.
He heard about Skill Development Institute (SDI) Ahmedabad which is based at around 250 km far from his village. He has enquired about the course and joined immediately in Industrial Welder (Oil & Gas) course to pursue his career in welding.
He has undergone six months training from experienced trainers and experts at SDI Ahmedabad. After completion of training he got a job opportunity in Satyam Auto Components Ltd, a world class manufacturer of Chassis for Motorcycles, Welded Sub-Assemblies, Fuel Tanks for two and four wheelers and Brake Booster Assemblies. He has joined as a Mig Welder at Halol plant of Satyam Auto and proudly says the training at SDI Ahmedabad helped him a lot to improve his skill set and confidence.
